Module code: MN2131
People professionals support the vision and goals of the organisation through great people interventions (CIPD 2022). Human resource management is a critical success factor for organisational effectiveness.
This module aims to examine the broad areas of human resource management with a theoretical and practical focus.
The module provides an opportunity to identify key issues, theories and practices of human resource management. You’ll identify how people practices benefit different stakeholders and assess the reciprocal impact of people practices within the employee lifecycle.
You'll also apply your skills to problem based case-studies in key topics such as flexible working, employee wellbeing, onboarding, retention, equality, diversity and inclusion, with the opportunity to create people interventions and practices to address real-life people challenges.
