Year Abroad Placement Evaluation: Study or Work (Year Long)

Module code: ML3032 (double module)

This module is for those of you who are not splitting your year abroad between two languages, who are either studying at one of our partner universities or who are carrying out an approved work placement in one of your languages. During the course of the year, you will perfect your written and oral communication skills in the target language, whilst gaining insight into the academic or professional environments in your respective destination. When you return to Leicester in your final year, you will give an oral presentation in the target language on the skills that your year abroad has equipped you with, in order to critically evaluate its importance in your studies and its relevance to your future career plans.
