Actuarial Modelling Project

Module code: MA7423

The aim of this is to is to ensure that you can model data, document the work (including maintaining an audit trail for a fellow student and senior actuary), analyse the methods used and outputs generated and communicate to a senior actuary the approach, results and conclusions. You will also develop your ability to apply and interpret the results of your analysis.

Workshops will give you experience in developing software that meets professional standards for documentation, transparency and reproducibility. You will also have the opportunity to develop communication skills through peer-review of software documentation.
