This module aims to give you a solid grounding in theories of second language learning and language teaching, and how theories inform practice, including current debates in these fields. You will study the principles underlying a wide range of approaches and techniques for the teaching and learning of language, and theories of how languages are acquired. You will have the opportunity to relate these to your own professional context.
