Learning Technologies

In this module you will study educational and other technologies, their associated affordances/characteristics, and the ways in which they can be used to support different approaches to teaching and learning.

You will gain experience with a range of technologies, critique their relevance to practice, and consider their implications for learning, teaching, and research. You will be provided with ample opportunities to communicate and collaborate with peers through various technologies. You will be encouraged to become part of the broader TEL (technology enhanced learning) community (e.g., ALT, EDEN) through social media.

The module is in two parts: 'Technology-Enhanced Learning' and 'Learning Design for the 21st Century'.
