Your dissertation provides an exciting opportunity for you to explore a topic of particular interest in great depth. You will put concepts and frameworks from the literature you explore into practice, as well as apply a range of research methods appropriately to a small-scale study. You will use a range of analysis skills to carry out your research objectives, presenting both quantitative and qualitative data with a clear and sound structure. You will undertake the project independently, but support will be provided by a designated tutor and you will be given a comprehensive introduction to the research methodologies and skills that are needed to undertake, evaluate, and present a dissertation.
