Inclusion and Special Educational Needs

This pathway offers students the opportunity to explore the education of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Inclusive Education (IE) in relation to national and international debates and priorities. This pathway will promote your knowledge and understanding of:

• IE and SEN in the context of international perspectives on human rights
• The educational challenges posed, in different national settings, by particular SEN, policies for IE and key interventions / preventive practices for both IE and SEN
• Key contemporary national and international debates and theories in IE and SEN
