Research Design

Module code: CR2516

In this module you will put into practice the quantitative and qualitative research and evaluation skills which you have gained on the course. The module comprises four detailed case studies which represent various types of crimes that may occur in a security manager’s workplace. Following specific instructions on the key stages that are necessary to design an effective research proposal, you will select one of the case studies and, applying your research skills, analyse the data provided and put together a proposal which includes an explanation of the research methods selected, the anticipated problems and an interview schedule.
