Entertainment Design
Module code: CO2112
In this module, you will learn intermediate 3D Design techniques for games and entertainment, including modelling, texturing, lighting, audio and rendering. The course will teach Python in order to create an interactive games experience.
You will learn the Python programming language and work with a range of 2D, 3D, and game engine tools to produce 3D game assets.
You will use polygon modelling tools to build 3D assets for games. You will learn to create curves using non-uniform rational basis spline tools and UV mapping processes. You will use 2D and 3D graphics packages to produce textures and texture maps. You They will apply theories of colour and light to 3D game scenes and undertake audio design. Finally you will create modular 3D assets to produce game scenes.
