Module code: BS2000 

This core module provides an introduction to the processes underpinning research in the biosciences. The structure of the module is designed to follow the scientific process from the starting point of undertaking literature searches and evaluating research literature, through to experimental design and consideration of the legal and ethical aspects of the proposed work to the presentation and discussion of the results. The module will be delivered as a series of lectures, supported by team work, individual exercises and self-directed learning.
