Vikings in Northamptonshire event poster The lecture will be given by Dr Jane Kershaw (Oxford) on the topic of The Vikings in Northamptonshire. Jane is an expert on Viking archaeology and on metalwork, in particular. She currently holds an ERC Starter Grant for a large scale 5-year project on Silver and the Origins of the Viking Age. The lecture takes place, in person (only), in the church of All Saints at Brixworth, just north of Northampton, which is the grandest pre-Viking building in Britain, built c. 800.
