Travel and car parking

Car

If you are coming to graduation by car, there are two car parks available, both within about 15 to 20 minutes' walking distance of De Montfort Hall and campus:

• Our multi-storey car park on Putney Road* (use postcode LE2 7TF)
• Our School of Business satellite campus, Brookfield, on London Road. The car park entrance is on Holmfield Road (use postcode LE2 1SD)

If you require accessible parking, please request this through our online shop.

*Please note there is no right turn to the multi-story when approaching southbound from Welford Road (e.g. from the city/main campus). The car park can be approached when heading northbound up Welford Road at the Putney Road/Welford Road junction, or heading southbound from the city to access Putney Road via Counting House Road.

Train

If you are coming to graduation by train, Leicester Station is about a 15 to 20 minutes’ walk away.

If you are local and arriving by bus, catch the Arriva 48 from the Haymarket Bus Station to University Road.
