Analytical and support services

We host a number of facilities to analyse various aspects of samples for geoscientific research. Analytical services are available together with the necessary expertise to interpret the results.

Facilities

Our facilities include X-ray fluorescence (XRF), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), thin sections/sample preparation and LA-ICP-MS.

Our services range from mineralogical determination of clay samples to elemental determination at sub-ppm levels in rocks, soils and sediments.
