Honorary titles

The College may confer with you and give you an honorary title within the College or one of its departments. The titles available for application are:

• Honorary Professor
• Honorary Associate Professor
• Honorary Senior Lecturer
• Honorary Lecturer
• Honorary Fellow

Individuals appointed to substantive roles in local NHS Trusts and partner organisations in order to deliver teaching in the College, can be put forward for an appropriate title that is most closely associated with their role:

Visiting titles

The Honorary Visiting Fellow and Honorary Visiting Professor titles are awarded within the College to academic visitors to the University for the purpose of teaching, study and/or research.
