Mirror College Leadership Team

The College of Life Sciences (CLS) Mirror College Leadership Team (M-CLT) was created in 2021 as an initiative under our Athena Swan Action Plan. The purpose of our Mirror CLT programme is to:

• Promote diversity of thought
• Offer fresh perspectives and ideas for the culture of our College
• Increase transparency and engagement
• Provide career development opportunities. 

Supported by Deputy Head of College, Professor Natalie Armstrong, and other CLT members, the Mirror CLT discuss real issues and challenges faced by our College Leadership Team and offer their solutions. Our pilot project was initially for one year, but due to the success of the scheme, it has continued and has inspired others.
