FrancescaName: Francesca
Erasmus year: 2016-17
Destination: University of Leicester, UK

I am an Italian student from the University of Milan, currently on an Erasmus+ exchange at the University of Leicester. Taking a year abroad is an inestimable experience of life. There is so much you can learn from living in a foreign country, that goes far beyond a language or a culture. I think you learn a lot especially about yourself. You grow as an individual and you get to know yourself in a way that you have probably never had before. I think that I am gaining a lot from this experience. I also think that my employability has strongly increased and I am more aware of what I want to achieve in the future.
