School of Arts, Media, and Communication

The School of Arts, Media, and Communication comprises English, Film Studies, Modern Languages and Media and Communication. It is part of the College of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities.

We offer undergraduate degrees in a variety of single honours and joint variants. We have a vibrant postgraduate community at MA and PhD level that reflects our internationally-recognised research strengths.

We host a extensive programme of research seminars, workshops and events.

The University’s research is ranked 30 in the UK in the Research Excellence Framework 2021, according to analysis by Times Higher Education.
