Transcripts and certificates
Degree certificates are legal documents that prove you have successfully completed your course at the University and the full academic transcript is an official University document that lists all the module marks and grades you have achieved on your course. Taught students are provided with a degree certificate and full academic transcript when they graduate.

Replacement and additional full academic transcripts
Additional copies of Transcripts for undergraduate and taught postgraduate courses can be purchased via our online shop.
Additional copies can be provided dependent on the relevant information still being available. If we are unable to provide a full academic transcript, a letter will be provided confirming the details of the award that has been achieved.
Please be aware, transcripts are not available for graduates of the following:
- School of Medicine courses commenced prior to 2013
- Distance learning courses
- Taught postgraduate courses completed prior to 2009
- Education PGCert and PGCE courses
- Taught postgraduate lifelong learning courses (contact the department directly for the above transcripts)
- Erasmus and JYA students (please contact the International Office for transcripts)
If you have graduated in one of the above courses, please contact your department for further guidance on what documentation is available to you.
Please note that as research degrees do not have a taught component transcripts are not available for these courses.

Employer reference requests
As an employer you can verify a candidate's qualifications by requesting a reference from the University.
