Since launching the Festival of Change in October 2020, over 1,300 alumni from 28 countries have joined us for a Festival of Change event. With 91% of alumni saying that they would recommend the event to a friend, we want to let you know about our programme of exciting events we have coming up. Details subject to change.

This is a free event open to University of Leicester alumni.

Learn more about what the American Friends of the University of Leicester and their impact via philanthropically funded initiatives, such as the American Friends PhD Scholarship programme.

Make sure to register your attendance to find out more about exclusive University updates including upcoming visits to North America and Canada.

This event includes a question and answer session with the President of the American Friends of the University of Leicester.

The Alumni Awards Dinner is an annual opportunity for alumni to come together and celebrate University and alumni achievements, recognise our Alumni Award winners, and thank alumni for their valued contributions to business, research and society. 

Our 2025 Alumni Awards Dinner has already taken place and you can find out more about our Alumni Awards Dinner 2025 and our award winners on our website.

The Annual Alumni Meeting is open to all University of Leicester alumni. During the meeting, the Alumni Association Committee reports on alumni activity over the last 12 months, provides an update on philanthropic funds jointly managed by the University and Alumni Association Committee, and invites alumni to vote on members of the committee who are standing for re-election (if applicable). There is also an address from the Vice-Chancellor and the opportunity to pose questions to the Alumni Association Committee and Advancement Team.

The 2025 Annual Alumni Meeting has taken place and a recording will be available soon. Please make sure you are signed up to our mailing list to be the first to hear when the 2026 Annual Alumni Meeting will take place.

This event is open University of Leicester alumni. 

Join the Alumni Association Committee for their annual Alumni Festive Celebration online on Friday 5 December.

You’ll hear from them on the past twelve months and how we have celebrated 100 years of the Leicester Alumni Association in 2025. There will also be an update on the year ahead, including some very special news about an upcoming campaign.

It wouldn’t be a festive event without a quiz - make sure you join us for some end of year fun!
