AccessAbility
Who can attend
The Study Advisers in the AccessAbility team work with:
- students with specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia
- students with mental health difficulties
- students with Asperger's Syndrome/autistic spectrum differences
- students with ADD or ADHD
- students with acquired brain injury
- students with a combination of these difficulties
Funding for most study support is provided through the Disabled Students' Allowance although staff will support students who are not eligible as long as they can provide proof of their specific learning difficulty or disability.
Some students attend study advice sessions once a week, and others make contact less frequently. The amount of contact is decided in consultation with AccessAbility staff.
International and Distance students are welcome to contact us to discuss study support.
