Who can attend

The Study Advisers in the AccessAbility Centre work with:

• students with specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia
• students with mental health difficulties
• students with Asperger's Syndrome/autistic spectrum differences
• students with ADD or ADHD
• students with acquired brain injury
• students with a combination of these difficulties

Funding for most study support is provided through the Disabled Students' Allowance although staff will support students who are not eligible as long as they can provide proof of their specific learning difficulty or disability.

Some students attend study advice sessions once a week, and others make contact less frequently. The amount of contact is decided in consultation with AccessAbility Centre staff.

International and Distance students are welcome to contact the Centre to discuss study support.

Staff in the AccessAbility Centre work with students with disabilities and specific learning difficulties. Visit the Learning Development pages if you are a member of the University community who does not have a disability or specific learning difficulty.
