Open Days
We hold Open Days (for potential applicants) and UCAS Visit Days (for those who have applied and received an offer) to provide you with all the information you will need. You are also welcome to visit the University at any stage of your application. Visiting the campus will allow you to get a feel for the University and to meet some of the people you will be spending your time with.
Open Days take place in July, September and October. These are general open days where you can visit the campus, speak with academics and students and visit the accommodation. The programme for these days is flexible to allow you to choose what you want to see and when. You might be interested in more than one subject; taster lectures are available to help you make your choice.
Once you have applied and have an offer from us, you will be invited to a UCAS Visit Day. These are subject-specific days on various dates and have a more structured schedule. They usually take place in February and March. This is a second opportunity to visit and meet other potential students in your subject area.
Each year we organise a two-day Mature Student Welcome Event a few days before term starts to help you settle in to University life.
