Gaming for all

Gaming For All is a new project we are launching for students who identify as female or a marginalised gender who are interested in all things Gaming. The week-long Year 10 programme includes three elements of academia, careers, and real-world application to inspire and help explore a career in the games and tech industry. The week will include academic taster sessions from STEM and Art subjects, talks and workshops from experts in the industry and a field trip.

This year the event is being supported by several external professionals from across the games sector from organisations such as, British Esports, Rare Ltd, Triple Jump and Digi-Box.  

The event is completely free and includes a field trip. Places are limited.

Who can attend?

Only for Year 10 students who identify as female or a marginalised gender.

When and where?

It will take place across a week during the May half term, running from Tuesday 28 May to Sunday 2 June 2024. There will also be a field trip element to end the fun and exciting week. The programme will run on one of the weekend days only.

All days apart from the field trip will run from 10.00am to 2.30pm.

Participants will be expected to be within a commutable distance to the University of Leicester, University Road, Leicester LE1 7RH.

How can I sign up?

Students can sign up individually through the link below. Please note there is a section for your parent/carer needs to complete, therefore ideally, complete this in the presence of a parent/carer.
