This event has been cancelled. See here for information. Eddie Izzard today (Monday 23rd May) kicked off a new campaign to visit 31 cities in the next 31 days in a bid to get young people to register for the referendum and vote to stay in Europe.

Prestigious Japanese documentary features Leicester researchers

Japanese broadcaster NHK will feature the University of Leicester in a documentary show ‘NHK Special’, which will focus on developments in genomics. The documentary will air on Sunday 5 May, with the show attracting audiences in Japan in excess of 10 million people.

To mark 50 years since the death of Joe Orton, BAFTA-nominated filmmaker Chris Shepherd is collaborating with Dr Emma Parker from our School of Arts on an Arts Council-funded project inspired by prank letters of complaint that Orton penned using the pseudonym Mrs Edna Welthorpe.
