School of Business
United Nations Principles of Responsible Management Education
The School of Business is a proud signatory of the UN Principles for Responsible Management Education (UN PRME), launched in 2007. This initiative is the largest organised relationship between the United Nations and business schools with its mission being to transform management education, research and thought leadership globally. It engages business and management schools to ensure they provide future leaders with the skills needed to balance economic and sustainability goals, while drawing attention to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and aligning academic institutions with the work of the UN Global Compact.
By being a member, the School of Business has taken a commitment to promote sustainability and responsible management within the School's curriculum, research and operations. Every two years the School of Business submits a UN PRME report as part of its membership. The report is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the work undertaken by colleagues in the School contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agenda.
For our 2022 report we would love to include contributions from our students and alumni who are involved in projects that relate to one or more of the UN SDGs. If you think you are able and willing to contribute please contact Steve King, our Accreditation and Business Manager on sdk12@leicester.ac.uk for further information.
