Dr Wei Wei

I am a Lecturer in Employment Relations at the School of Business. I am also a Research Associate at the Technology and Management Centre for Development, University of Oxford, and hold the title of Associate Fellow at the Digit Centre, University of Sussex. After obtaining my PhD from the University of York, I held the post of Research Officer at the Technology and Management Centre for Development, University of Oxford.

My research interests cover international and comparative HRM and employment relations, platform work, digital HRM and innovation management.

In 2023, I was awarded the CIPD Professor Mick Marchington Applied Research Grant to examine the role of actors and social contexts in digital HRM.

In 2021, I was awarded a one-year Visiting Research Fellowship by the ESRC-funded Digit Centre at the University of Sussex Business School.
