Dr Satwant Kaur
Lecturer
Profile
My research expertise lies in international law and international criminal law and justice. My research so far has focused on the International Criminal Court and the concept of ‘ending impunity’ as well as broader questions around justice and the role of prosecution and trials. I am also interested in domestic criminal law and justice.
Research
My research adopts a socio-legal and interdisciplinary perspective, in particular I examine the role of justice within international criminal law trials and tribunals. My research and publication interests centre around international criminal law and justice, particularly the purpose of prosecution, ending impunity and the role of international criminal trials. I am currently in the process of converting my doctoral thesis on ending impunity and the office of the prosecutor at the International Criminal Court into a monograph.
