Profile
Research
My research adopts a socio-legal and interdisciplinary perspective, primarily examining the impact of legal and regulatory frameworks on micro and macro-economic development. My research and publication interests centre around international economic law and development, particularly in financial regulation, bank financing, property rights, labour law, and gender.
I am currently co-facilitating a collaborative project with IEL Collective and the Third World Network (TWN) to evaluate the need for reform in the World Trade Organization’s (WTO) dispute settlement system ahead of the thirteenth Ministerial Conference (MC13) in February 2024. This project centres on developing countries and includes expert assessments, private briefings, and an online panel discussion within the context of “deglobalisation.”
