Dr Paula Warrington

My background is in English Language and Literature. In my doctoral thesis I explored the role of conceptual metaphor in learning and communication. I subsequently became interested in storytelling in education. I have recently been working in the area of learning technology, designing and creating online learning resources for a range of audiences.

I provide pastoral support to the School's MSc students as well as support around developing professional and academic skills. I am the School's Senior Tutor for Taught Postgraduates.

As the Personal Tutor for School of Engineering MSc students I deliver face-to-face and online student support sessions and tutorials. My focus is on developing the academic and professional skills of our taught postgraduates.
