Profile

Pamela works as a Research Associate at the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences of the University of Leicester. Her work as a HCI Lead involves conducting research and development for the Personalised Space Technology Exercise Platform (2021-present). P-STEP is a multidisciplinary project funded by the European Space Agency that aims to design an interactive mobile application to provide support and exercise guidance to people with long-term conditions based on health and satellite data combined with artificial intelligence.

In the past, Pamela worked as an HCI Specialist at the University of Leicester for two projects. These projects were funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 and they are known as the GO-LAB Initiative (2017-2019) and ARETE (2021). GO-LAB's ecosystem facilitates the use of innovative learning technologies in STEM education, with a particular focus on online laboratories and inquiry learning apps. ARETE'S ecosystem studies and develops AR technologies and content to stimulate interactive learning.
