Profile

I teach and research in the area of company law and corporate governance. I am the module convenor for the UG company law module. I am an associate editor of Corporate Governance: The International Journal of Business in Society. I am a Fellow of the HEA.

I joined Leicester Law School in 2022. Prior to that I have worked as a lecturer in corporate and commercial law at the University of Sheffield and as an Assistant Professor at National Law University, Orissa.

Research

My research lies in the fields of company law and corporate governance. I am interested in investigating how changes in company law may impact financial growth. Most of my research utilises quantitative methods. In the last few years I have also explored the areas of financial technology and behavioural finance.
