Profile

I am an Associate Professor and the Director of Education at the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, University of Leicester. I have a Doctorate Degree (PhD) in Cloud Computing Sustainability and Decision-making from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh; A Masters of Science (MSc) in Management Information Systems from Royal Holloway, University of London; And a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Computer Science (Informatics) from Damascus University. I have a rooted strong connection with the industry after working as a senior project manager at a leading Software Ecommerce company, Digital Boutique, with over £5 Million worth of Software Ecommerce projects delivered. 

My current research is pedagogical, and is focused on developing and managing Innovative Adaptive Learning Systems for Computer Science and Management Information Systems. My other ongoing research is focused on Technology Innovation Management and Cloud Computing Complex Decision-Making.

I provide leadership and support for teaching and learning at the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, University of Leicester, and my teaching is focused on Technology and Innovation Management, Software Engineering, Project Management, Databases and Domain Modelling, Cloud Computing, Programming Fundamentals, Computer Networks and Internet Security.
