Profile

Hoa Do is an Associate Professor in Management at the Department of Work, Employment, Management and Organisations - School of Business. Prior to joining University of Leicester in 2023, he was a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at Aston Business School – Aston University, Birmingham where he obtained his PhD in Management in 2017.

His PhD thesis investigated the underlying mechanism between HPWS and the performance of Vietnamese service firms. His research has been published in high-ranking journals such as Human Resource Management, Human Resource Management Journal, Journal of Business Research.

He serves as an Associate Editor - Applied Psychology: An International Review, Guest Editor for the HRMR Special Issue "HRM for the greater good: Mapping the field and envisioning the future" as well as an adhoc reviewer for such journals as Human Resource Management, Human Relations, Human Resource Management Journal, Journal of Organizational Behhavior, British Journal of Management. He has been awarded by different funding bodies such as British Academy, VVOB Rwanda (Belgium), KAKEN-HI (Japan), NAFOSTED (Vietnam). He is a Fellowship of Advance HE, UK.
