Profile

The title of my PhD project is 'Assessing the benefits of coaching psychology in enhancing student wellbeing and development'. My work is supervised by Dr Robin Green, Dr Kazia Anderson and Dr Catherine Steele.

 

Prior to undertaking a PhD, I worked for a occupational psychology consultancy. I specialised in the use of psychometric personality questionnaires utilising them extensively in development and coaching work. I was also responsible for the project management and delivery of research on contemporary psychological topics, including self-awareness, the 'always on' culture, and virtual teams.

 

I am a Coaching Psychologist and Occupational Psychologist holding chartered status with the British Psychological Society and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council.

Research

My research focuses on promoting undergraduate well-being through peer coaching. The goal of my research is to design, deliver and evaluate a peer coaching programme for undergraduate students.

Qualifications

As a Coaching Psychologist and Occupational Psychologist, I hold chartered psychologist status with the British Psychological Society and am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. I hold an MSc in Occupational Psychology from the University of Leicester and a Postgraduate Certificate in Executive and Business Coaching from Leeds Beckett University. I was awarded a Diploma in Psychology (Conversion for Graduates) from the Open University and a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science and Business Management from Oxford Brookes University.
