We have teamed up with National Express and East Midlands Railway to offer 30% off coach travel and 20% off train travel on your journey to one of our Open Days.
30% off coach travel
National Express have hundreds of stops throughout the country and offer generous luggage allowance and budget-friendly ticket prices. Leicester is about three hours from London by coach, about two hours from Sheffield, and about 70 minutes from Birmingham - all direct services.
You can claim 30% off a return ticket to Leicester, travelling on the day or on one day either side if you plan to stay overnight. Simply select your journey and your chosen Open Day date from the journey planner. Your discount will be applied during checkout.

- Redeemable from any location to Leicester St Margaret’s Bus Station.
- Only valid for travel to a University of Leicester Open Day on any of the following dates:
- Saturday 17 June 2023 (travel 16-18 June)
- Saturday 8 July 2023 (travel 7-9 July)
- Saturday 16 September 2023 (travel 15-17 September)
- Saturday 7 October 2023 (travel 8-10 October)
- Saturday 11 November 2023 (travel 10-12 November)

20% off train travel
East Midlands Railway are offering 20% off rail fare so you can save and join us. Leicester is about 65 minutes from London St Pancras, about 50 minutes from Sheffield, and about 50 minutes from Birmingham New Street - all direct services.
