College Court wins national hotel award
College Court, the University’s multi-award winning conference centre and hotel, has recently been awarded ‘Conference Hotel of the Year’. The venue was shortlisted for the award following nominations by their clients.
The judges were looking for a venue that showed dedication to excellent facilities, customer service, catering innovation and cleanliness and College Court excelled on all fronts.
The Hotel Awards England celebrated its first awards this year with 12 categories celebrating the very best that the Industry has to offer.

The organisers of the event, Creative Oceanic, are an awards company seeking out excellence in many areas of UK businesses including The Food Awards, The Hospitality Awards and the SME Business Awards. They plan to run the Awards on an annual basis and look forward to continuing to recognise the outstanding businesses across the UK.
College Court are also finalists in the CHS Awards for ‘Best Academic Venue’ which takes place at the Manchester Piccadilly on the 31 May 2018. Now in its fourth year, the CHS Awards provide hotels and venues with a fantastic opportunity to showcase their facilities. Their awards are designed to be accessible for all types of hotels and venues, allowing even the smallest independent venue to be recognised for an aspect, service or feature of their property or service.
