Trumps Space Force HyPIR lecturer interviewed on BBC Radio 5 Live

Dr Bleddyn Bowen, Lecturer in International Relations at HyPIR, was interviewed about recent events in outer space on Radio 5 Live by Anna Foster. Based on his research on war in outer space, Bleddyn commented that US President Donald Trump’s desire to create an independent military space service – a Space Force – is not as ridiculous as it sounds, and many military space activities follow terrestrial precedents that go largely unnoticed in wider society.
