Brexit challenges and opportunities for trade in the Midlands

An expert panel that will discuss the implications of Brexit for trade and commerce in the Midlands will be speaking at our University during the next Brexit Forum, which will take place on Wednesday 14 March between 4:00PM - 6:00PM in the Woodhouse Room of the Charles Wilson Building 4th Floor.

Organised by the Centre for European Law and Internationalisation (CELI), speakers at the event will include Mr Chris Hobson (Director of Policy and External Affairs, East Midlands Chamber of Commerce), Professor Erika Szyszczak (Professor of Law, University of Sussex and UK Trade Policy Observatory) Mr Ian Thomson (Partner and Head of Commercial, Spearing Waite.

Professor Katja Ziegler, Director of the Centre of European Law and Internationalisation (CELI), said: "The impact of Brexit on Britain's trade is much discussed. At this event experts who are familiar with industry and businesses in the Midlands, and Leicester specifically, will shed light on the potential impact of Brexit on our region."
