Law academic in report and recommendations for national scheme
An Associate Professor from the Leicester Law School has contributed to a national review on professional negligence disputes.
Masood Ahmed (pictured) was appointed by the Professional Negligence Adjudication Pilot Scheme Working Party to review, evaluate and make recommendations on a novel Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) procedure for professional negligence disputes.
Masood’s report was welcomed and approved by the Working Party, the Master of the Rolls and Lord Justice Coulson (Deputy Head of Civil Justice). The majority of recommendations were accepted and are being implemented.
