School of Museum Studies to host Open Day offering bitesized lectures

On Thursday 22 February, the next Open Day for the School of Museum Studies will be taking place, offering the chance for 2018 applicants and prospective applicants to gain insight into Master’s study with the School.

Running from 1.00- 4.30 pm, the day will provide the opportunity to meet academic staff and current full-time MA students, sample three 'bite-sized' lectures, have a guided tour of the School and be provided with course(s) details.

Postgraduate campus-based courses on offer include Museum Studies and Art Museum and Gallery Studies. Flexible Learning courses include Museum Studies, Heritage and Interpretation, and Socially Engaged Practice in Museum and Galleries.

Professor of Museum Studies Richard Sandell said: “Open Days are always an exciting event for us, giving people interested in Museum Studies the chance to come and take part in mini-lectures and find out more about the School and what we do. We love meeting people who are interested in our subject area and look forward to getting to know them and answering any questions they have at the Open Day”.
