Expert opinions cover the General Election and the DUP tower blocks and media engagement plans
Dr Simona Guerra from the School of History, Politics and International Relations recently wrote an article for La Razón discussing the recent snap election called by Theresa May.
Ather Mirza, Director of the News Centre, has written an article for Efficiency Exchange on how the discovery of Richard III was revealed to the world through a sophisticated plan of media engagement.
Dr Stephen Hopkins from the School of History, Politics and International Relations has written an article for Think: Leicester discussing the aftermath of the General Election and the position of the Democratic Unionist Party, providing insights into the history of the party and Northern Ireland.
Professor Loretta Lees from the Department of Geography has been quoted in The Times on 15 June about tower blocks in the wake of the recent London fire. In the article she says: "There's going to be a newly launched attack now on tower blocks as if they are the worst of the worst, and that's simply not true. There are lots of tower blocks that are very safe."
Professor Lees also appeared in The Guardian on 19 June and was being interviewed by Time magazine on the subject.
