Leicester graduate reaches GBBO quarter final
Leicester Economics graduate Benjamina Ebuehi (pictured) has reached the quarter finals of the popular BBC baking show The Great British Bake Off.
With just five bakers remaining, Benjamina has already beaten off stiff competition from her rivals ever since she claimed the coveted 'Star Baker' award during the first-ever batter week in Week Four.
23-year-old Benjamina, graduated from our University in 2015 with a first class degree in Economics with a Year Abroad. She now works as a Teaching Assistant, living in south London.
With just three episodes remaining will there be 'tiers' or will she have what it takes to rise to the top and be crowned the winner of Mary, Sue and Mel's last-ever GBBO on the BBC?
Tune in to BBC1 on Wednesday 12 October at 8pm to find out whether Benjamina makes it through to the semi finals. Catch a slice of the action via the BBC iPlayer
