Latest highlights from our postgraduate research community

The Graduate School is pleased to announce that the third issue of the Postgraduate Research Magazine Frontier is now available to view online.

This issue contains 10 exciting articles on a range of topics including mummies as museum objects, entrepreneurship to help prevent terrorism, white dwarfs, and Victorian baby-farming. This issue also includes an announcement for the newly formed PGR Society and highlights several upcoming events for postgraduate researchers.

Frontier is a postgraduate research magazine run entirely on a volunteer basis by and for postgraduate students. Frontier’s aim is to provide a platform for postgraduate students to present their work in an engaging way to a non-specialist audience, to showcase the extent of research carried out at the University of Leicester, and to encourage interdepartmental discussion and collaboration.
