Diabetes Distance Learning Postgraduate courses approved
Students can now complete prestigious courses in diabetes from home or work.
A Distance Learning Programme has been approved by the University of Leicester and will include Distance Learning PGCert/PGDip/MSc in diabetes.
This is a University of Leicester Distance Learning Programme facilitated by the Leicester Diabetes Centre, which is one of Europe’s largest diabetes facilities offering ground-breaking research and dynamic clinical services.
The courses are now open to recruit students for October 2016.
Professor Heather Daly and Dr David Webb, Programme Leads of the Distance Learning Courses said: “These courses increase knowledge, skills and confidence in diabetes care and the introduction of the Distance Learning Programme means that people can enjoy greater flexibility of study.
“This Distance Learning Programme combines the most topical and up-to-date thinking around clinical care and research with practical examples of how novel research and evidence-based diabetes care can be applied in real life, clinical settings. Students will also gain transferable skills.”
