Leicester ranked in top 1 in the world

Our University has been ranked among the top 1% of universities in the world and in the top 20 universities in the UK by a global league table of higher education institutions.

The CWUR World University Rankings, the largest academic ranking of global universities, published this week, places Leicester at 237 among the 25,000+ degree-granting institutions of higher education worldwide.

Leicester is also ranked among the top 1% of institutions in the world by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.

The Center for World University Rankings publishes the only global university ranking that measures the quality of education and training of students as well as the prestige of the faculty members and the quality of their research without relying on surveys and university data submissions.
