Fire in Maurice Shock Medical Sciences Building - media statements

The lab was damaged by fire and the vicinity affected by smoke and water damage. The fire was dealt with by the fire service within minutes.

Over the weekend, University teams along with other services will assess the building for the extent of the damage.  Apart from the affected area, access to the building is not expected to be affected next week.
