Vaughan Centre for Lifelong Learning celebrates successful part-time students
Part-time students at the Vaughan Centre for Lifelong Learning were congratulated on their commitment and dedication at an award ceremony on 5 March at The Fraser Noble Building, University of Leicester.
Certificate students, along with their friends, families and tutors, attended the annual celebration of achievement, where they were presented with their award by Professor Steven King, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Head of the College of Social Science.
Among the highlights of the evening was the presentation of the Philip Collins prize for the Adult Learner of the Year, which this year was presented to Nicola Theakston by Director of Lifelong Learning Dr Clive Marsh for achieving the best academic performance at Certificate of Higher Education level, during her studies on the Certificate of Higher Education in Psychology.
The Vaughan Centre for Lifelong Learning runs a range of Arts, Humanities, Social Science, Management, Science and Counselling courses, all of which are delivered on a part-time basis which make them ideal for those who wish to gain a university accredited qualification in conjunction with their busy lives.
The new Vaughan Centre for Lifelong Learning course brochure is now available and a copy can be requested via email.
