Students invited to take on the Miserchef challenge

Students are to apply to take part in a ‘MiserChef’ competition as part of National Student Money Week from 9-13 February, where the idea is to demonstrate how you can have a healthy and nutritious meal on a tight budget.

The competition will check out the culinary skills of students, to determine who can cook the cheapest, most creative meals in the shortest time, and claim the title of 'MiserChef'.

National Student Money Week is a campaign to encourage the promotion of good money management among students in the UK.  The campaign is designed so that each institution can run its own events with the needs of its own students in mind.

As part of the Money Week students will also be challenged to Stretch a Fiver and there’s a series of Finance Roadshows for students to obtain a ‘Finance MOT’.
