UCAS Convention 2015

Last week, the University of Leicester hosted the East Midlands UCAS Convention, the biggest of its kind in the region. The event was attended by over 9,000 Year 12 students from over 70 schools and colleges from across the East Midlands.

The event provided Year 12 students and teachers with the opportunity to visit the University campus, many of whom for the first time, and see the facilities on offer as well as meet Leicester representatives on the exhibition stand to hear about the courses available.

Feedback surveys are due to be sent out by UCAS to all attendees at the convention but staff and students working during the event were inundated with positive comments about the University, its facilities and the organisation of the convention.

Organisers from the Student Recruitment team even arranged for the sun to be present throughout!
