This module will give you a practical appreciation of the processes involved in 'doing science'. The structure of the module is designed so that you will follow the scientific process from the starting point of undertaking literature searches and evaluating research literature, through experimental design and consideration of the legal and ethical aspects of the proposed work to the presentation and discussion of the results.
